My name is Juan Aguilar, and I’m originally from Houston, Texas. About seven years ago, my family and I moved to Northwest Arkansas, where I’ve planted roots and grown both personally and professionally. I’m currently 23 years old, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of opening my own barbershop.

My journey in the hair industry started around five years ago, in a modest storage shed at home. With no formal training at first, I taught myself the basics and began cutting hair for friends and family. Over time, I decided to take the next step and went to school to get licensed. Being a barber allows me to bring positive change into people’s lives on a daily basis, and that’s something I truly value. I love the social aspect of this work, from hearing clients’ stories and opinions to connecting with people from all walks of life. The barbershop has become a space where everyone is welcome, and I’m excited to continue building that sense of community.
